Remembering Our Friends
A Special Place.
|
It is inevitable that eventually our best friends will leave us. It is one of the saddest times in all of our lives, but it's comforting to look back and remember all of the special times and love we shared with our pets. |
|
|
We may be only the pet sitters, but we grow attached to the animals we care for too, we get to know them, appreciate them for who they are and love them. It's sad to hear that one of our charges has passed on and so we created this page to help remember them and all the joy they gave to the lives of their parents, and us. |

Cookie | Medusa | Rocky |
A puppy at heart, Cookie reached a good old age. Despite deafness and the pains that come with old age, Cookie retained her joy of life to the end - you could see that if she could have still gotten her body to obey her wishes she would be bounding up and down at the thought of a walk. If only we all could retain the positive attitude and cheer that she displayed despite her challenges. |
Many people have trouble understanding that reptiles have character too. Medusa was a character. She let you know about her likes and dislikes, warmed up to you as she got to know you, and LOVED to be scratched. She loved her spot in front of the living room window, watching the neighbourhood, and I'm sure the neighbours miss walking by and seeing her on guard. |
Rocky, he could have taken the other Rocky. A 100 mile a minute bundle of energy, always excited and always happy. And as you can see, quite a looker too. Taken tragically by illness way before his time, his short time with us was at least in part compensated for by the intenseness of the relationship he had with his family. He was dearly loved - which I am very sure he realized. |
